Meeting of the BSPC Working Group on Migration and Integration

On 21 June 2018 in Copenhagen (Denmark), the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) Working Group on Migration and Integration held its third meeting. Members of the national parliaments of the Baltic Sea Region countries together with governmental experts discussed different national integration strategies and analyse best practices. Members of the Working Group also discussed the possible recommendations to the 27th BSPC Resolution. The delegation of the Baltic Assembly was represented by Veiko Spolītis (Latvia) and Urve Tiidus (Estonia).

The aim of the Working Group is to identify measures that have been applied by the countries of the Baltic Sea Region in regard to migration. The primary outcome of the Working Group is to elaborate political recommendations in regard to migration and integration issues for the countries of the Baltic Sea Region.
