Meeting of the Welfare Committee of the Baltic Assembly

On 19 February 2016 in Riga, meeting of the Welfare Committee of the Baltic Assembly was held. Parliamentarians, governmental representatives and experts jointly discussed demographic situation in the Baltic States, state policy for family support as well as protection of rights of the child, especially problems affecting citizens of the Baltic States residing abroad.

Along with the issues discussed, members of the Baltic Assembly analysed report by the Baltic Council of Ministers on progress regarding the joint procurements of medicines of the Baltic States.
