Meeting of the BSPC Standing Committee

On 14 – 15 November 2016 in Hamburg (Germany), the meeting of the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) was held. Delegation of the Baltic Assembly was represented by President of the Baltic Assembly Jānis Vucāns (Latvia), Member of the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly Romualds Ražuks (Latvia) and Member of the Baltic Assembly Andre Sepp (Estonia).

During the meeting cooperation in science and research and foundation of the Baltic Science Network was discussed. Members of the Standing Committee analysed implementation of the 25th BSPC Resolution and assessment on the implementation of the 24th BSPC Resolution. Initiatives regarding youth projects in the Region, report of the working group on sustainable tourism in the Region, further procedures for the BSPC engagement with Belarus were on the agenda of the meeting. Members of the Standing Committee approved BSPC Work Programme 2016/2017 under Presidency of Parliament of the German state of Hamburg.
