26th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference

From 3 - 5 September 2017 in Hamburg (Germany), the 26th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) held its annual conference. This year’s conference was held under a heading "Innovative Science, Sustainable Tourism – Participation and Cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region". In four thematic sessions, parliamentarians debated about the state of the region, including "Cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region", "Democratic Participation & the Digital Age", "Science and Research" as well as "Sustainable Tourism" and also focused on the topic of the next BSPC Working Group "Migration and Integration". Delegation of the Baltic Assembly was represented by Aadu Must (Estonia), Jānis Vucāns (Latvia), Johannes Kert (Estonia), Romualds Ražuks (Latvia), Atis Lejiņš (Latvia), Veiko Spolītis (Latvia), Juris Viļums (Latvia).
