On 5 November 2025, the Baltic Assembly will attend the 70th anniversary of the Benelux Interparliamentary Assembly, which will take place in Brussels, Belgium. The event will bring together representatives from Benelux countries and partner parliaments to celebrate seven decades of cooperation and to discuss shared priorities for the future of regional and international collaboration.
During the meeting, the Baltic Assembly will be represented by Vice President Timo Suslov, who will participate in the debate on “the importance of international cooperation in the field of defence.” This session will explore ways to strengthen cross-border security and defence partnerships and deepen coordination among European regions.
