On 16-17 June 2025, parliamentarians from the Baltic States will attend the BSPC Standing Committee Meeting, which will take place in Mariehamn, Åland Islands.
Discussions will revolve around the Baltic Sea region countries evaluating progress, exchanging insights and preparing for future parliamentary initiatives.The meeting will be chaired by the President of the BSPC Alfons Röblom and a presentation will be provided by Susann Simolin, Director of the Åland Peace Institute. Additionally, preparations for the upcoming 34th BSPC and the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Youth Forum will take place.
At the meeting, the Baltic Assembly will be will be represented by President Jānis Vucāns, Vice President Giedrius Drukteinis, Member of the Presidium Ģirts Valdis Kristovskis and Member of the Presidium Enn Eesmaa.
