Baltic parliamentarians to participate in the spring Plenary Session of the Benelux Interparliamentary Assembly


On 25 March 2022, the members of the Baltic Assembly will take part in the spring Plenary Session of the Benelux Interparliamentary Assembly in Brussels, Belgium. The main debate of the theme session will address hydrogen technology. The benefits and risks will be debated, as well as the economic, financial and environmental aspects of hydrogen. 

On Friday the signing of the Joint Statement of the Baltic Assembly, the Benelux Parliament and the Nordic Council on digitalization will also take place. Afterwards, the delegations of the three organizations will exchange views on the security situation in Europe. The delegation of the Baltic Assembly consists of President of the Baltic Assembly Jānis Vucāns, Vice Presidents Aadu Must and Andrius Kupčinskas, and Member of the Presidium Orinta Leiputė.
