Baltic parliamentarians to discuss biodiversity, animal welfare and joint recycling projects


On 1-2 February 2024, the meeting of the Natural Resources and Environment Committee of the Baltic Assembly will take place in Tallinn, Estonia. 

During the meeting, parliamentarians will discuss biodiversity, species protection, and wild animal welfare in the Baltics. The parliamentarians will also cover the welfare of domestic animals in the Baltic States and try to find joint solutions to common challenges. Lastly, intensifying efforts towards circular economy in the Baltic States will be assessed, including harmonising approaches and encouraging joint recycling projects.
