Joint digital meeting of the Natural Resources and Environment Committee and the Economics, Energy and Innovation Committee of the Baltic Assembly


On 30 April 2021, the joint digital meeting of the Natural Resources and Environment Committee and the Economics, Energy and Innovation Committee of the Baltic Assembly will be held. During the meeting, parliamentarians will discuss such topics as challenges and opportunities towards climate neutral Baltic states by 2050, including multifunctional and carbon neutral agriculture and joint projects and approaches. The meeting will also cover the topic of energy security in the Baltic states and the interconnected, stable and sustainable energy systemsLastly, regional solution in regard to the regional transmission tariff for electricity trade with third countries will be discussed.
