Working activities of the Baltic Assembly

In 2024 under the Lithuanian presidency, the Baltic Assembly will cover numerous topics in all areas of cooperation. The topics to be discussed in 2024 are the following: 

  • energy security and independence in the Baltic States;
  • transport connectivity in the Baltic region;
  • innovative and connected business environment of the Baltic States;
  • animal welfare and protection in the Baltic States;
  • joint renewable energy and recycling projects;
  • climate-neutral Baltic States by 2050;
  • scientific excellence and visibility in the Baltic States;
  • cooperation of the Baltic education institutions;
  • culture of resilience in the Baltic States;
  • civil-military cooperation of the Baltic healthcare systems;
  • timely access and affordability of medicines in the Baltic States;
  • coordinated and connected Baltic civil defence;
  • protection of critical infrastructure in the Baltic States;
  • military mobility in the Baltic States.
